Do It Yourselfers - Installing Electric Floor Heat
Installing Nuheat's electric floor heat system is easy. The electric floor heat mats are ready to go out of the box and are installed
directly between the tile and subfloor. No extra supplies are needed!
You can easily install Nuheat's electric floor heat system to add the
warm touch to your bathroom remodeling or kitchen remodeling projects.
Whether standard-sized (square and rectangular shaped) or custom-shaped
(angles and curves), Nuheat's electric floor heat mats come out of the
box ready to fit the room. For any project, whether it's a kitchen
remodeling or a bathroom remodeling project, you do not need to string
out, cut or splice any heating wires.
The steps are the same for kitchen remodeling, bathroom remodeling, or
any other remodeling project. Once your subfloor is prepared:
- simply apply a layer of thinset
- lay down the Nuheat electric floor heat mat
- apply another layer of thinset
- lay your tile
- make the final connection to the Nuheat electric floor heat thermostat
Allow the thinset to cure (as recommended by the thinset manufacturer),
turn on the system and enjoy your warm tile floors. Nuheat is the
easiest electric floor heat system to install. Incorporating electric
floor heat into your kitchen remodeling, bathroom remodeling, or any
other remodeling project has never been easier!
